A Decade of Impact in Latin America

We are celebrating a decade of innovation in Quality of Experience (QoE) by strengthening our presence in Latin America through successful collaborations with regulators, governments, and operators. Here are some of the most noteworthy milestones:

SUTEL & Costa Rica: Transparency in Mobile Experience

In partnership with the Superintendencia de Telecomunicaciones (SUTEL), MedUX conducted a nationwide benchmarking study to assess mobile network quality. Thanks to our robots deployed across Costa Rica—executing automated test routes entirely operated by MedUX—we provided the regulator with objective, actionable insights.

MedUX also provided a Public Portal where the information extracted from the measurements can be used by end-users through an interactive and friendly interface.

CRC & Colombia: Transforming Mobile Evaluation with Crowdsourcing

Our collaboration with the Comisión de Regulación de Comunicaciones (CRC) marked a major milestone in modernizing QoE assessment. Through our innovative Crowdsourcing solution, we collect real-time data directly from users’ devices to evaluate the actual perceived experience across the Country.

SUBTEL & Chile: A National Framework for Measuring QoS

In Chile, we supported SUBTEL in implementing a continuous monitoring system for broadband and mobile services at a national level. Our independent, large-scale, and high-frequency methodology delivers transparent, reliable data to both citizens and the regulator.

Central America: Scaling QoE in El Salvador, Panama, and Honduras

Across Central America, MedUX has deployed fixed and mobile monitoring platforms in close collaboration with SIGET (El Salvador), ASEP (Panama), and CONATEL (Honduras). These projects demonstrate how our scalable QoE solutions can adapt to regional realities, supporting regulatory compliance and the development of public policies.

Telefónica Ecuador: Enhancing Network Visibility with Crowdsourcing

As part of the recently  signed Global Framework Agreement with Telefónica, MedUX is working with Telefónica Ecuador to deliver a cloud-based SaaS platform for visualizing and analyzing technical data from mobile devices connected to Ecuador's mobile networks. This solution provides continuous visibility into real user experience through advanced Crowdsourcing technology, empowering Telefónica with data-driven insights to monitor and optimize network quality.
